Garmin connect_Problem saving detailed record

When updating details of an uploaded record, garmin connect does not react to clicking the save button. The update action is not performed, when going back to the list overview.
Steps
  • Upload new record from device (ForeRunner405)
  • Go to Detailed information of this record
  • Edit details
  • Add calories, distance and other details
  • Save details record

Expected result: Record is saved containing updated data
Actual result: page is not refreshed and redirected and record is not saved
  • same problem with my Garmin 705. Pain in the backside as i've got a crazy speed spike (as in 3,946.0 mph!) recorded in this particular file...

    (only just experiencing this problem - assuming it's tied into the recent "personal records" tweak...)

    I am having the same problem both when manually entering a new record and when full editing an existing record. I see this issue on Safari 5 for Windows and Safari 5 for Mac. I temporarily downloaded Firefox 14 for Windows and for Mac and the save function worked (which is how I was able to manually enter certain records). However, Firefox is not the browser I prefer to use, especially on the Mac.

    Please check the underlying code for the save routine. Something doesn't seem quite right.

    I'm seeing the same issue, since July 18th. At first I thought it was due to a Firefox browser update, but I get the same result (can't Save "Full Edit") with Chrome or IE.

    Today it's working again, I had opened a support "ticket" with Garmin, but hadn't gotten anything specific other than the automated reply. I had also cleared the cache and cookie for another problem, but I don't think that fixed it because I was seeing the same problem in different browsers and on a different system.

    Still get a similar problem. (or at least a related problem. There seems to be a new topic about this, but I believe it's related to this problem)

    Get referred to a "maintenance" page when I'm adding a new activity and I click on "add more data".
    I can save the activity with just the basic data and then go via "full edit" to add the extra data, but that is a bit of a workaround.
