Editing An Activity

There are times when I pause my Garmin and forget to restart it again. For example, on this activity you'll see a straight light from the bottom left the the NW where I "finally" started my Garmin again!

Is there any way that the trip can be edited so I can detail what happened in between?

When you press stop the device does not record trackpoints, therefore no data. Unless you manually create the track, there is no way to reconstruct your activity.

That's exactly what I'm wondering. Is it possible to manually construct or modify the "track", as you say, between two points of an existing activity?

Yes, if you don't care that it won't be your actual activity, but a recreated facsimile of your activity.

It's been years since I've done this, but the last time I did it was by first drawing a course using mapsource (or BaseCamp) save the file as a gpx. Then use the program called gpx2crs to convert it to a course. Then use TCX converter to convert that to a tcx activity file, then manually upload to Garmin Connect.
