It is a shame that Garmin is not allowing users to manually upload health data to Garmin Connect. Many users, my self included, have paid hundreds of dollars for Garmin Devices such as the Forerunner 405cx that can't even be used with Tanita scales if we wanted to pay money for this feature. Recently, Garmin has made it clear that they do not intend to ever enable this feature, although it is entirely clear that this is only a limitation in their desire to do so, not a technical inability to do so. There are several free software alternatives for various mobile and desktop platforms now available to enable this feature. Unfortunately, Garmin has even begun to sensor any mention of such software from this forum. I suggest people who are interested in this feature contact Garmin and express theire wishes and also search the web for suitable solutions.
