My nüvi 2595LMT cannot find satellite signal

Hello,

I bought a nüvi 2595LMT yesterday.

I registered it on Garmin website, the software and maps are now up to date, but unfortunatly it cannot fin any satellite signal.

I have'nt got any green bar, only a small red dot on the extreme left GPS signal status. My nüvi search few minutes, and after i have a message "no satellite signal".

My nüvi is out of order ? If not what i have to do ? Please help.

Leave it outdoors, in plain view of the sky for about 30 minutes. It should have acquired by then. Protect you gps from rain etc. though. A ziplock bag is ok for light rain, but be careful, as the unit is not waterproof.
