I did the following:
1. opened an activity in the "player" view.
2. clicked on the "advance 1 position" button.
3. pressed the right arrow key on my keyboard
found:
the "playhead" moved forward one position, and the map shifted to the left.
expected:
nothing, but was happy to see the playhead move. Had I been over the map, I'd have expected it to move, but I wasn't. In any case, the current arrangement is silly. One either wants to use a keyboard short cut to move through the data, or shift the map. Nobody should expect both.
extra info:
personally, I'd rather have the map track by itself, following the position of the "playhead".
