Edit TCX file

I went on a ride saturday and I forgot to turn off my edge 800 when i got into my truck to drive home. is there a way to edit out the part of the file that was recorded with the bike in the back of my truck?

    Yes.
    Open the tcx file with MapSource.
    Using the map find the spot on the track where you want to stop the data.
    Double click that spot on the track.
    The Track Properties box opens and the highlited trackpoint has the time shown.
    Write down the time.
    Open the original fit file in the Fit File Repair Tool.
    Scroll down to the time you wrote and then click the next point in the "Delete Selected Records" column.
    Then down below on the right in "quick select" click "from here".
    Then back up to the very top of the column click the delete button.
    Then a little higher on the left side click "Export File" choose "TCX" and add the word revised to the new file name just before the (dot) tcx.
    Do a manual upload of the revised file into GC and see if the data and map look okay.
