Nuvi 3750 randomly reboots - Garmin USA won't help

Hey everyone,

My Nuvi 3750 will randomly reboot at random times when in use... It seems to occur after it makes some type of update... For example, turn right on "Main Street"... Once I turn right and the unit seems to update to give me further information, it just shuts off... It seems to happen at least once in a given time period, let's say two hours of use. Sometimes more/less. Battery is fully charged and all that. Latest maps/software/etc...

I emailed support and they told me to hard reset it. So I did just that. Did not help anything.

I tried reinstalling software versions and that did not help, either.

I am getting to the point I won't buy a garmin unit in the future if I don't have to. The last three GPS units I bought have all had some weird "death". My last unit I gave to my girlfriend simply will not turn on anymore or do anything. Now this unit likes to randomly reboot.

What is with Garmin quality? It really seems to suck. It's not like my GPS gets used and abused. Yet they still manage to die out.

Any help for my Nuvi? Garmin USA after their "help" to reboot my unit and reset it and all that simply told me they can not repair the unit but can sell me an overpriced refurbished unit of the same model.

Anybody?
