maximum heart rate setting too high

I am 57 years old. I know that my maximum heart rate is only 160. The garminconnect setting has the maximum at 185, which is way too high so the thresholds are useless to me. I can't find a way to make it lower. Changing the settings seems to only allow you to make it higher. This doesn't even make sense if they used the typical 220 minus age.

I did try using the search function for an answer without any luck.
  • You might get a popup letting you know that "The heart rate for this zone cannot be less than the heart rate of a lower zone." Therefore, you need to start with zone 1 and work your way up to max, filling in the heart rates for the various zones.

I'm 55 and have my settings like this...

That is exactly what I get. I will try as you suggest and manually change the other numbers. It sure would be easier if you could just change the max and the rest would follow automatically!

    Thank you Phil.
