Cannot Upload Activities - Edge 500

I've had my Edge 500 for over one year and have been able to upload without any problem. This morning I've tried to upload activities, but cannot. The blue progress bar goes nearly all the way, then stops (see attached screenshot). I've tried both the all new and selected activities options.

Things I have tried:
1. Reinstalling latest firmware update.
2. Reinstalling Garmin Control plugin.
3. Rebooting device.
4. Different browser (Chrome and Firefox).

My computer is a Mac running OS X 10.6.8.

One other thing I've noticed is that on the Garmin Connect Dashboard, the reminder keeps popping up telling me that my firmware is 2.8, when I have now installed 3.0 twice. However, the device shows that it's running 3.00.

    Same issue

+1 on this problem. I haven't gone through and reinstalled everything, but since I updated to 3.0 on my Edge 500, I am having the same problems. I am also running a Mac. I am using Chrome and it reads the activities to a certain point and then hangs.

I tried the same on Safari and it go to the same point and then put up an error message (attached).

    Help please?

    310xt

I have a 310XT. Activities down loaded fine on Sunday 6/10/12. Not today, 6/12/12. Uploads to Training Center work fine. I thought it might be a problem with "other" (swim) so I added a couple of Run activities to upload. Again they up loaded to TC but not connect
    I'm using Windows 7; IE9

Could you please describe how you were able to delete them and import them? I assume there's some way to save them?

This is what I did on my Mac to resolve this problem. I didn't want to spend the time finding what was corrupted on the device. Once the Edge shows up as a mounted volume you can go to Garmin => Activities => {your activity date}.fit and upload manually.

After uploading all activities that you don't already have I went through the following steps to set the device back to it's factory settings:
    https://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/case.faces?caseId=%7Baf76b980-cd31-11e0-cf56-000000000000%7D

Not an ideal solution. It at least gets you moving on with your life though :-)
