Disable Junction View?

I have a nuvi 2450LM and wish to disable the junction view but cannot find an option to do that (I don't find junction view to be very useful; more of a distraction). Can it perhaps be disabled by renaming the JVC file, or, some other method?

ICan it perhaps be disabled by renaming the JVC file...

If you do that it'll be disabled alright :)

Tried renaming the JVC file and it worked (no more junction view).

BTW, Garmin supports says none of the Garmin devices have the ability to turn off junction view which seems peculiar to me.
