Where to post specfic device questions

I have been a bit confused by the naming conventions of the various forum and have had the nagging feeling I might post to wrong group.

I have questions regarding the interface appearance of a Garmin Oregon 550t. Such things as how to avoid having the obnoxious `thumbtack' appears whenever I press on the screen... and several other points.

Can anyone tell me where to post such questions?

Lat Long

I also have questions about the Oregon 550 and do not know where t post it. I know how to change the position format. However, I cannot find out how to read my current position lat long. I can poke the screen near where I am at to get an approximate reading. It seems like such an obvious thing but I do not see it in the instructions.
