garmin connect stays on 'loading'

Hello,

On certain features (demanding loading data) the garmin connect page stays on "loading".

For example : In my list of activities, when I want to edit them, garmin connect stays on "loading"
same on the explore feature, Team Garmin, pc stays on "loading" (at least I waited 15 minutes and still getting message "loading")

anybody an idea of the reason for this?or better a solution ;-)

thanks

Hans Dewit, Belgium
  • Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, you should be accessing garmin.com in "compatibility view." In IE go to Tools, Compatibility View settings, add garmin.com. Or, while on Garmin Connect, go to Tools "Compatibility View."

I'm having the same problem and can't access anything in the Explore tab. With IE9 there is no Tools/Compatibility View setting that I can find???
    Help?
  • If you're using Internet Explorer 9, many functions of Garmin Connect simply will not work. Many pages will display the "loading" message and nothing will happen. Setting the Garmin Connect site to "compatibility view" will emulate an older browser version, thereby allowing you to continue to use Microsoft's latest browser, without having to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. You should be able to see the blue icon next to the address bar. Looks like a torn piece of paper. If it's blue, then it's enabled. If it's gray, then it is not enabled. If you click on it, it will turn blue, designating that compatibility view is enabled. If you enable while on connect.garmin.com, then it will always be enabled for Garmin Connect on IE 9.

I have the same issue, tried with IE9 (both compatible view and normal view), Safari on iPad, Firefox, and Chrome and they all do the same, when I try to load on of my course it stays on *loading*.....

I'm having this issue too, on Chrome, especially when moving track points with "Stay on Roads" turned off.
