First off, I did search the forums first because I'm sure someone has asked something similar before, but I couldn't quite find what I wanted.
I am in sales and we receive mail in requests from all around my area that potential customers send in asking that we contact them about our product. I have been using my Garmin Nuvi 1450 to take all of my leads and make the most efficient route but I am only partially satisfied with the route feature.
I put in all the address that I want to visit into the route feature and hit the "optimally reorder" button to get the quickest route. But I've found that even when I reorder it, the first address that I type in will always be the first one I visit, even if it is not the closest one to my start point. Since I just type in a giant stack of address in no particular order, what I would like is for it to give me the closest point to my start point, and then the closest after that, etc.
Also, is anyone else here in sales or something similar and have any tips on more ways to use the 1450 in this respect? Does the added software do anything more interesting?
