This is a very simple request. I'm a soccer player and use my Garmin 210 to track my games. My suggestion is that outdoor sports like soccer, tennis, basketball, football, volleyball be added as activity types in Garmin Connect.
I concur! I play indoor and outdoor soccer, bike, swim, run, hike, climb and etcetera. The list includes so many outdoorsy things - why not team sports? Especially now that you have joined the ranks with the vivofit?
I can understand why all these activities are wanted - I think the problem for Garmin is how they handle them. Swimming, Cycling and Running activities all have associated characteristics that are particular to the sport. If you allow creation of user defined activities then you would have (I think) to allow them to be defined and take on the characteristics of one of the major activity types that Connect can handle - that wouldn't be a huge task I would have thought.
I'd just like to agree with the suggestion for adding Yoga, I'm not that bothered about logging calories, its just to be able to note it as a regular activity.
