Can't upload .gpx file to Garmin connect from computer

Hi - I have saved a gpx file to my computer from mapmyride. If I go to "Upload", "manual Upload", browse for file and click on upload nothing happens

Just checking your proceedure here. You must click the big gray button, under the "Browse" button, that says "Upload Activities From File". Not the blue and white button way up on the right.

If you are using the correct button then the file will either upload or you will get an error message.

Hi - thanks for reply - yes to be specific I did click big grey button. And I don't get any kind of reponse

Note - if I hover my mouse arrow over the "browsed" file I saved it shows as C:\fakepath\loop.gpx instead of where the file really is C:\jeff\docs\bike\loop.gpx

I'm having the same issue as you. I'm pushing the gray buton at the buttom of the page - nothing happens.

not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. process seems very straight forward to upload file, but nothing happens..

Well I just got back to my computer and tried a manual upload of a gpx file to GC and it worked fine.
Either Garmin has fixed their service in the last few hours or you guys have a problem on your side.
I hope you get it sorted out.

Jeff,

Found the solution to the problem for me. Selecting compatibility view in Explorer enabled the upload button.
