Manually drawn track upload problem

Is there a way to upload a manually drawn track or route to Garmin Connect?
I need this because I have a special topographic map of my area and it includes paths that the map on garmin connect does not have. So, I manually make my track and want to upload it to my Edge 500. Similar as the Course functionality on Garmin connect.

I tried manual upload to Garmin Connect with tcx and gpx files but I always get a "Some activities could not be created" note.

I tried importing the gpx files to training center but I get an error that my file does not contain any activities, courses or workouts.

Tried converting files from gdb, gpx, ... to any kind of format and nothing works.

You can do this using gpx2crs to convert your gpx to a course. You can download the zip file here. Then use TCX converter to convert that to a tcx activity file (see attached), then manually upload to Garmin Connect. I uploaded it to my own GC account, which you can see here:
