Troubleshoot Editing in BaseCamp

Hey all, I'm new to Garmin Basecamp but I would like to be able to edit my points from BaseCamp. For some reason when I go into properties to edit them everything is grayed out. Any suggestions? I'm using a GPS map 76Cx unit.
