How to change color of Active Track on 62s

I have searched and have not found anything that will explain how to change the color of an Active Track that I am navigating on the 62s. I know that I can change the color of tracks and how to show them on the map and that works fine. I use my garmin on my atv while riding through the mountains and the default magenta/pink color of the active track blends in too much to the background and makes it to where I have to stop and study the map to make sure I am on the right path. If this isn't possible than I will definitely add it to the feature request thread but I can't believe that they make it to where you can change all of the other colors but not the active track color. Drives me crazy!

I really hope someone has an answer.

Go to the track manager, current track and change the color there.

Thanks for the info but that actually just changes the color of the track that is being recorded. I am trying to change the color of a track that I am navigating (similar to following a route).

Look at the same location, just scroll down to the track you chose to follow and change its color. You may need to change the color before choosing to navigate the track.

I was able to change the color of the track before I selected it for navigation but when I select it for navigation, it changes from the red (color I selected) to that light pink/magenta color. If I stop navigation, it goes back to the red color I selected for it.

This should be a simple option.

So why select the navigation? You could simply change the color of the needed track and follow it visually, keeping your position marker more or less on the track, depending on the actual land features. Frankly, I've never used the track navigation feature on my 62s as I never understood its need.

I use the track navigation extensively as it gives me standard navigation info updated in real time (distance remaining, pointer to follow route, etc). The tracks I am following are through the mountains and average 25 to 50 miles. Sure I could just have a picture of what the route looks like and just drive so that my position is always on top of the "red line" but that really gives me no idea of where on the route I am distance wise. Standard trip info (distance traveled, distance to go, time remaining) is very nice to have on a 5 hours technical ride through the mountains or anywhere else for that matter.

I understand you don't see the need but obviously Garmin recognized that there are people who do thus putting the function into the unit. As far as I can tell, they just didn't give us the ability to change the color of the track as it is being navigated.

Thanks for trying to help but I do in-fact really appreciate this feature and would like to know if there is an answer to my original question. Is there a way to change the color of a track while NAVIGATING that track? If not, then I will just submit it as a feature request and hope they agree that it would be nice to have.
