I am using Foretrex 401 for nearly two years, uploading stuff to GC on a nearly daily basis. All worked fine, however since a couple of days I can't upload tracks anymore using GC. I can access the device using Basecamp without problems (and then send it to GC), however the direct upload stops. The activities are read (if choosing "Upload selected activities"), but the upload itself fails.
Tested on FF, Safari and Chrome (Mac OS X 10.7.4, latest browser versions each) as well as Win7/Firefox.
Tested with a brand new Garmin Foretrex 401 (FW 2.7, GPS 2.6) too. Same issue.
I have the same problem with my Foretrex 401 for the past few weeks: the data stays inside and won't upload to Garmin Connect. I tried erasing everything in the memory and then record a new series of regatta but it still won't upload anything.

Exactly the same issue for me ! Seems a recent upgrade of the Garmin plugin messed up...

I had the same issue after the update i couldnt wirelessly transfer data or view data on Base camp.
Garmin support couldnt really help, but then i noticed the foretrex didnt have a GPX folder it had a random file called GPX, so i deleted that file and created a folder and now its all working again.
however i did loose all my waypoints and tracks, but they were already lost after numerous factory resets.
