History on edge 705

Hey,

I've had trouble for a couple of days now where connect won't recognise new activities on my 705, and I cannot find (going by date) the latest ones when searching via my computer>garmin>history.

However after trying again this evening, i've just noticed that when I plug the device into the computer, at the point it normally saves the history to get it ready for upload, it doesn't save it.. just skips it and loads the device.

Anyone got any ideas? Tried deleting lots of old history to make space but that hasn't worked.. the activities are nice and visible on the history on the actual device but it won't save them so I can upload them to connect. Annoying!

Uploading recent history

I've just had the same problem. Suddenly stopped uploading recent rides for no obvious reason. It's not ideal but I got mine working again by deleting the entire history (menu/History/Delete/Delete all). Working OK now. I'd guess when the internal buffer fills it blocks uploads. I think this device is now showing its age unfortunately!
