I have been having some issues with my electronic compass and I am wondering if others have been noticing it as well:
It loses its calibration very often. Sometimes in as little as five minutes and I thus have to re-calibrate it again. It works as it should when it has just been re-calibrated, but it just loses its calibration a lot sooner than it used to.
The problem appears whether battery save is on or off - I read a previous forum post here about this option when I was searching the forum for information about my issue.
I noticed this happening since I updated to the latest firmware.
I am going to try reinstalling the firmware (4.2); or I may drop back to the older firmware.
But I wanted to see if there has been any similar problems and work-arounds here before I spent so much time tinkering with the gps.
