910xt uploading/downloading issues

I have been working all day on trying to get it to DL the pre-set workouts and courses that I setup on GC. Once I hit send to device it says 'sent successfully'. Unfortunately nothing gets sent. (Is send to device also supposed to initiate a sync?...because once I do this it is still on standby.. aka "waiting for new data".

I have no problem recording my workouts and uploading them from my watch. But if I setup a custom workout on my watch (which is a pain)...that doesn't get uploaded either.

So a three part question:
1. The problem seems to be between the GC and the Ant agent when sending data out.

2. Is send to device supposed to initiate a sync?

3. When you do create custom workouts on your watch...will they upload to your GC?

fyi: I have the latest ant agent, win 7 OS

after 7 hours... I thought maybe it was IE9 related. I downloaded firefox...everything works....can I have my day off back :(

There are a number of posts throughout the forum about security settings that need to be changed in IE. Not too sure what they are, but you should be able to dig them out quite easily

In IE9 you need to do this:
Tools > Internet options > Security tab > Trusted sites. Add *.garmin.com to the list of trusted sites.

Glad it's working for you in FF. Go ahead and take monday off. ;)

It seems only FireFox works well with Garmin. I have issues all the time with this forum just trying to log in and staying logged in. Garmin's answer is always refresh and if that does not work use FireFox. I feel your pain
