Why are there no sections/subforums for the Oregon/GPS62/Dakota/Montana devices?

This is what google search gives for "garmin forums". It says "... for Garmin devices".
So where are the sections for the "on the trail" people. I suppose they do not represent a minority among the garmin users. So please open/create such subforums. Thanks.

I am really puzzled if the garmin administrators had somewhat like a concept when they launched this site ...

My question also. For as many units that are out there, I am surprised that someone from Garmin is not on the site to answer questions and such, within the same week, month or at all. I see lots of none responses to legit questions.

It's like a very part time job for someone. And if you have an issue, question or want to expand your skill set, you have to go elsewhere to find anything out. Guess the money is not with us.

Hate to say it guys, Garmin has the slackest support in any world wide company so no matter how many forums they allow here don't expect and real support as such.

Here's an example. I sent Garmin USA an email about deregistering a Montana I had sold, 2 weeks later I get a response.

Another, try and ring Garmin support here in Australia and expect to stay on hold for over an hour then when you finaly do get through don't be suprised if the cleaning staff answer.

A Oregon and GPSMAP62 user who also wonders why Garmin does not bother to have a section for non-cycling/running GPSes! I note that the original question was asked 11 months ago.

As an Oregon 450 owner I'll add my vote for a subforum. I use my Oregon for mountain biking, road biking, hiking, geocaching and pedestrian/vehicle navigation in unfamiliar cities. These "on the trail" devices are useful for so many things. I own a car specific model (nuvi) and sports specific model (forerunner), but love my Oregon for general all around use.
  • I also, have posted this same question.
I'll add my vote for forum support for the "On the Trail devices"...in my case...the 62s!
  • +1 for a dedicated forum section. Just odd that Garmin doesn't consider hiking worthy of a section. Maybe they could call it Adventuring?
