Explore endlessly loading

I'm attempting to Explore for local Activities and Courses. The screen on the left hand side is endlessly "Loading" and diplaying nothing. Filtering and zooming in/out doesn't make a differance.

What can I do to get this to work?

Click on the 'compatibility view' button next to the url.

That fixed it! Thanks so much, I never would have tried that as an option to fix this.
