Charts on Garmin Connect blank prior to Oct 2011

I just noticed that the charts for all of my activities prior to 2 Oct 2011 are blank. Is this to be expected?

I've noticed this too. I was looking at a run back in august 2011 today, and all the charts were blank.
  • Click the player button, then the details button to return to the standard view of the activity, and you should find the graphs restored. Karlw2000 pointed this out in this thread about the same issue, which appeared after the last update to the Connect site.

I have the FR60 and since the last update, maybe it was the update before, but the 'Player' function does not appear in Connect anymore.
  • If there's a Splits button still, try that; that also brings the graphs back for FR 210 data

There is a splits button, but the process of switching to "splits", then back to "details" does not bring the graphs back.

I've tried this with IE8 and the Chrome browsers, even on my wife's Android tablet.
  • I'm out of ideas, then, sorry.
Probably best for you to email Garmin Support directly; we haven't had an official comment here (it's not an official support route, so wasn't expecting one). If you get a helpful answer, would you mind reposting it here?

I'm in contact with support, hopefully something will come out of it.

I've done some more research and found out that workouts BEFORE Nov. 27, 2011 have no chart data, but workouts from that date onward have chart data.

    Nov. 26, 2011 http://connect.garmin.com/activity/131046104
    Nov. 27, 2011 http://connect.garmin.com/activity/131392481

The other interesting thing is that if I look at my wife's account, the same holds true with the dates.

Took awhile...but hopefully in the next update of Garmin Connect the issue will get fixed.

Thank you for contacting Garmin International.

I will be happy to assist you. This is a Garmin Connect issue, our
engineers are currently working on a fix in the next update. We are
hopeful they will get it done before the next update but there are no
guarantees. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

If there is anything else please let me know.

Charts are now working after small GC update today.
