Have a new 1390lmt that just got all the updates. With traffic enabled, the roads only show as black lines, not the colored traffic lines. When I go around curves, the color seems to come out from under the black lines. How do I get the traffic "layer" to show on top of the map and not under the black streets?
I have the same problem with the 1490LMT in the LA area. Roads show as black lines and no traffic conditions shown (color code lines, green-yellow-red). Garmin support replace the receiver/power cord. Did not fix the problem. Now saying if could be software issue. After several updates ...... still not fixed yet.
I have the same problem. Up until a few months ago the main navigation screen would show yellow or red on the road lines when there was traffic. Then, after a firmware update, the road lines on the main navigation screen would only appear black. The icon in the top left corner would show yellow or red and indicate a delay time, but no in order for me to see the yellow or red lines on the road the only way to do it is by selecting "Traffic On Route". The road lines won't show yellow or red even when I'm in the middle of the traffic area that shows when I select Traffic On Route. I'm hoping another firmware update will restore the traffic color to the main screen, but I'm not holding my breath.
