Server Error

My husband's 310XT is not transferring data to Garmin Connect,
using Ant Agent version 2.3.2
When we plug in the Ant Stick and turn on his 310XT we get the message
"Activity transfer to Garmin Connect failed due to server error."

We deleted all the history on his unit in case there was a corrupt file.
The Ant Stick is still transfers/dowloads the fitness data, and
I have managed to unlock the hidden files & find them on the computer,
so we can manually upload his new activity to the calendar/Garmin Connect, but this is a total PITA!

Edit to add: his 310XT running version 4.0.0 and computer Windows 7, IE 8

My 310 XT (3.90.0.0) and Ant Agent (2.2.17) are running on an older versions and still work OK.
Is there a way we can revert his Ant Agent to a previous version so it will work?
Or is Garmin going to fix this problem with a new update & let us know when it is working & how to fix it?

Trolling the threads is how we managed to find these alternate/slap a bandage on/ temporary fixes... so it is obvious this problem is not a new one and we are not alone...
Please, does someone know how to fix this? Wouldn't it be great if it was someone from Garmin?! :rolleyes: :D please restore faith to a long time customer...
  • I fixed it!!!!!!! :)

    :D
    followed this path-->

    Computer/C:/Users/OEM -* or whoever you are using*/AppData/Roaming/Garmin/Devices/*your devices serial#*/Garmin Connect/Pending Uploads

    selected & deleted all pending uploads... ( had previously saved and manually uploaded the important files/activities we didn't want to lose ;) )

    saved a new/ dummy/ test activity...
    plugged in AntStick....
    did Not hold breath, LOL :rolleyes:
    and it successfully transferred activity and sent it to Garmin Connect!
    Yay me. hubby is happy again :)
  • Thanks. Same thing worked for me.
