GPSmap 62s to ArcGIS help needed

I use DNR Garmin to transfer data between the gps and Arc alot. I recently received a new GPSmap 62s and have been trying to relearn the process. I currently cannot download points and tracks unless I use a work around to locate .gpx files. I also have had no luck in trying upload points for field work into the gps. I was hoping someone out there had experience with this and could explain a better or faster way to do this.
