Nuvi 760 power switch

I just replaced the battery in my nuvi 760, and when I snapped the case back on, the power switch was completely loose, like it wasn't connected anymore. The screen says it's locked, but no matter where I slide the switch, it won't unlock or turn off. Any way to fix that?
