Editing Activity Length

Is there a way to edit an activity's length? When I finished running today I forgot to hit the 'stop' button. I have a couple minutes at the end of this activity that I'd like cut off. Is that possible?
I have the exact same issue-didn't realise that when i ran a course it did not automatically switch off (though i should have!) and it was still timing me walking around the house!! be great if someone new the answer to this one.
Yes the files can be edited but it is not real simple. If you attach a copy of the file and the time you want it to stop I am sure someone will fix your file. Then you can look over the edited file and see what was done and try it yourself next time.
