English roads on garmin 800

Hi
I have a garmin 800 with the CityNavigator Europe NT SD card.
I'm building a course from Leeds Bradford Airport to Hull.

I am using roads and lanes which are on the Garmin Connect map.

Can I assume that the same route will be visible when I download the course to the bike?

That is correct. The route should show up on the Edge 800 when transferred. As long as that SD card is in the device. If it is not there when you are using the device, I would suggest downloading a program free from Garmin called BaseCamp. This program will read the SD card and display the map. Then you can create the route and transfer it to the device using that method.
