Workouts not uploading

Hi

I have managed to upload workouts to my Edge 800 in the past with no problems. Now for some reason they will not upload, and it makes no difference if they are new workouts or older ones i have edited and resent to device.

Any thoughts or solutions?

I am having a similar issue with garmin 310xt. it has worked fine, before, and since, but I did a larger bike on sunday and that data is nowhere to be found. It appeared to do the data transfer (took a while, but there was a bit of data no doubt), and since I have also done a transfer all data from the watch.
there is no corresponding file on my computer and no upload to garmin connect. It has randomly happened once or twice before, but when you download a subsequent file is has "found" the missing one. Not this time though. which is really annoying as I really want this data!!!
On the watch in the history there are a number random files that for the day in question that dont correlate to anything (the watch was downloading at the times listed). the time on the watch is correct. and subsequent data is fine.
Would there be an issue with file size? I would guess it would be 20+MB - as a previous ride was 15MB and this ride was longer and had power (the other did not).
is there any hope for the data?
any ideas?
