elevation and courses

is it possible to see an elevation graph for a course? I can't find a way, but I think it is usefull to see the elevation when preparing a course

+1 - a course profile would be very nice! I'm also looking for a number indicating the elevation gain on a course but can't find it anywhere - shouldn't this information be available!?
