I just got the adapter for my iPhone. I already had a HRM chest strap from another brand watch. I was hoping that this chest strap would work with the Garmin adaptor but of course it doesn't. Does it have to be a special ANT+ chest strap? A Garmin? Adapter does not see the sensor. But this strap does work with the cardio equipment at the gym. I'll buy a Garmin strap if that's what I need to do but I just want conformation that is going to solve the problem. And what strap do I buy? I've heard some not so good reviews on one of them.
