Run Cadence label instead of Bike Cadence

As a new user of Garmin Connect with a Garmin 500 and GSC 10 Cadence sensor, I've just noticed that my cadence is being listed as 'run cadence' rather than ''bike cadence'. The figures are right, but the label isn't. Just wondered if anyone else has this issue, or whether it's something I've done!

Yer I am also a fairly new user of Garmin Connect with a Garmin 800 & GSC10 and the last 2 rides the graphs show SPM not RPM, I cannot find anywhere to change / edit a setting relating to RPM. Also when I uploaded the ride data & go in to edit the rides it it tells me my max cadence data is invalid at 228RPM on both rides, it does seems reasonable to say that, I do spin but thats crazy, so where / how has it come to that conclusion?!

OK I've been messing around to try and workout where the issue lays Edge, GSC10 or GC... So I've just uploaded my last ride again & left it untitled / unedited and now it shows RPM and not SPM... Then I did a quick edit... all ok with RPM on graph but still shows a high max cadence of 228 yet the graph peaks at 185 hmm... Then I did a full edit & amended the max cadence to 185 & now the graphs shows SPM!! Garmin Connect glitch I assume. NICKWILL57 do you do a full edit or quick edit, could this be where your issues comes from?
  • The problem seems to crop up for me after a quick edit to change the ride name. As glitches go it's one I can live with!

    Agreed, but annoying!

I think my high cadence issue may well be down to the crank magnet positioned too far from the sensor, I've adjusted and will test on a night ride tonight & will see if that upload makes more sense!
