Faulty internet connection while uploading activity - Forerunner 610

Some days ago. Just back from a hard mountain trail activity.
Connecting the forerunner to the computer with the option "delete activity..." on (soooo stupid of me!).
Just then my internet connection decided to go bonk.
The software (Garmin ANT agent version 2.3.2) dutifully signalled the error connecting to the site.
And that was all. The activity was NOT anymore on the Forerunner,was NOT present on the Garmin connect site.
Question: Can I hope to recover the activity? It's somewhere in the computer I used for the uploading? Can I try to send it again to the Garmin site?
I never used that PC for any other connection, just to stay sure...

The first thing the Ant agent does is to transfer the activity to your hard drive, so hopefully you can find the activity there.

The second post shows you where to find your activities if you have a Mac. The third post shows you where to find your activities if you are using Windows.

Once you find the activity, it's simple enough to upload it to Garmin Connect.
