Since going to Firefox 9 Garmin Connect tells me I do not have Communicator, which I do have. It shows in both 'Plugins' and 'Extensions'. I have no trouble if I upload using IE9 but as I use Firefox nearly all the time this is a nuisance. Can anyone help?
I am running Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 7 32 bit. I have installed the Communicator plugin many times. It must be there as it shows on the plugin and extension pages. It also works with IE9.
It gets stranger. Just tested it again and it works. :confused:
Garmin Communicator Plugin is "technically" incompatible with FF9, and Garmin needs to issue an update. In the meantime, please see my thread here to getting working in the mean time.

Thanks for that. I have noted it but as it now seems to be working for the first time since I went to F9 I will leave well alone. I had the same problem when F8 came out for several months.

This is not a fix to the functionality of Garmin Communicator, just clears an error message that pops up stating incompatability. Interestingly, I've just updated a Windoze version of Firefox to 9.1, and did not receive any error message. The latest GC addon worked without any requirement for a pseudo fix.
