Explore issues in connect

When I explore in connect I can only explore a small area in my city. If I move the map around and hit explore it goes back to the same small area. I've tried changing the option for the search(show filters) using dates zip codes etc etc still no good.

I contacted garmin support and was told to use the training centre software as its better!!!!!!!!!! This is just no good the best part of connect is the explore function. Anyone have any ideas this has been going on for weeks and is getting very frustrating with the lack of help from garmin support.

    Use compatibility mode on IE

    I'm not sure if my issue is the same as yours or not, but for me the explore function would not stop loading and would not display any activities or courses. When I run the page in compatibility mode (the broken page icon on the right side of the url bar at the top of the window) it works fine.

    I was thinking about buying an Edge 800 because it would be great to find bike routes ridden by others and download the navigation. I tried Garmin Connect to see if many routes are available, but I couldn't get the Explore to work. Do routes from Map My Ride download to the Edge 800?

    Its not working ATM has not worked for ages. Don't know if I'd buy an 800 I have one the unit is ok but the support is really poor. I contacted Garmin and was told to use a another program to store my rides rather than them fix connect. Not very happy with them pretty poor.

  • Marty, I have exactly the same problem. When I pan the map to another area in New Zealand, it always defaults back to Auckland. Garmin is not committed to the Garmin Connect site. I also emailed them, but I did not even get a response form them. I'm looking at buying a Bryton GPS.. Their site actually works.
