Sending to separate accounts

I have been using Ant Agent to send data via Mac from two Garmin Forerunners to separate Garmin Connect accounts with no problems until the most recent software update.

Now it transfers data from both watches to the SAME account. There doesn't seem to be anywhere in the settings to link each watch to a separate account.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it me?
  • Were you logged in as different users on your Mac? It always used to be the case with Macs that you had to be logged in as separate users to be able to use different devices for different accounts. I've never seen the ability to link to different accounts with either GTC or GC from a Mac.

Windoze GTC allows different accounts and different devices so might be possible on that platform.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I think it may be related to ANT agent 2.20. With 2.19 my wife & I were able to upload automatically from our FR610s to our own separate Connect accounts without having to adjust anything. Since the 2.20 update data are sent only to one account. I've tried removing both watches, deleting the ANT agent keychain and then re-pairing but the connect authorisation was only requested for the first watch to be paired.

I suppose we could always revert to manual uploads but that rather defeats the supposed ease of use of the setup. Any suggestions for a way to return to the old setup would be gratefully received as would any indication as to where to download ANT agent 2.19.

    The same here for me.
We use a Mac, FR310XT and FR610, latest software updates. They used to sync to their separate accounts of my wife and I without problems.

My FR610 sync works ok with Garmin connect.

Since the last update, the 310 XT only syncs correct with Training center, wich, in turn, syncs all her workouts with my Connect account.

What's new is that I don't see the ant agent symbol anymore. It seems to be integrated in GTC.

I cannot delete any of the two FR's in GTC, don't know how to do it.

    Comments please?

    any help will be appreciated.

Since version 2.20 the ANT agent is only visible in the menubar, not in the dock. You can add or remove devices and change preferences from there but it doesn't seem to help.

I'm having the same problem with my new 910xt syncing to my husbands account.

    Please can someone help :)
  • There is a clear difference between the way Windows and Mac GTC and ANT Agent operate. On the Mac I've never been able to link 2 accounts on the one Mac user account or GTC. Yes it is possible (as I have recently discovered) to have GC look back into the Mac from different GC logins, but that is not the same thing.

I'm unsure what is happening, and has happened, with the Mac ANT Agent with regard to being able to send from the one Mac user login to 2 separate GC accounts. I do know that every time I attempt to connect 2 differewnt devices to my login account that they both get pointed to the same GC account. There is still, despite countless requests, no option to add additional users to Mac GTC and assigne different devices to different user accounts. Maybe they've fixed a 'bug' that was favourable to users but went against there design parameters.

BTW, ANT Agent on the Mac now appears in the status bar at the top right. Click on it to get access to prferences and the ability to remove devices.

On WIndows I can, and have just done so, created 3 GTC users linked with 3 different 310XTs to 3 different GC accounts. I have had ANT Agent on Windows have different data to send to each different device and do so moviing down a list of data. It also selectively uploads data from each device to GC and GTC without any prompting. Sadly, despite being a Mac fan, this is an instance when WIndows really works!!
