I some how created a second account when the ANT agent recently did a sync of my Garmin 405. Now the agent only syncs to that second account. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the agent bt no go. Is there a way to delete a Garmin connect account, or some how change which account the ANT agent syncs too? I have been unable to find an answer so far. thanks for any help and my apologies if this is out on the forums some where, but I did not find it.
If you're using a Mac the answer is to remove the paired devices then delete the Garmin keychain using the Keychain Access utility. Then, when you re-pair the device you'll be asked to enter details for your Garmin Connect account.
Hey, thanks for the reply, but I am using windows. I did also reach out to garmin support and the following responce did the trick. It caused the ANT agent to prompt for login credentials. Figured I would post the techs instructions here in case someone else happens upon this thread and has the same need. Seems similar to your suggestion.
thanks.

To fix this we would need to remove the unit from the Ant Agent and then repair the device with the right information.
To remove the unit from the Ant Agent Please do the following.
Right Click on the Ant Agent Icon in the system tray->Device Settings->Remove Device->Yes
If you have more then one unit or paired the unit more then once please check if any other units are listed under the device manager and delete those as well.
Now you need to pair the unit again.
On the Ant Agent
You need to ensure that it is set to pair with new devices.
To make sure this is set, please right click on the Ant Agent in the system tray, and under "Pair with new devices" ensure it is set to "Enabled".
On the watch itself:
You need to make sure the watch is set to pair and ready.
Make sure the watch is awake.
Go to the main menu. Then follow through these options.
Settings->Ant+Sport->Computer
In Computer all 3 options need to be set to yes.
(Please note that there are three options and that Enabled is a menu option and not a confirmation that you are set to pair.)
Pairing: On
Enabled: Yes
Force Send: Yes
You will want to make sure that you are not logged in to any Garmin accounts when you go through the above process as it will pick up the account you are logged into as the one you want to use.
The Ant Agent should find your unit at this point. When it does, it will prompt you to pair on the computer. You must accept this. After you do this, it should prompt you on the watch to accept pairing as well. (It may prompt you on the computer several times without prompting you on the watch. This is normal)
Please click the top button to accept this pairing when prompted on the 405. The computer should now start saying "Transferring Data" and you have successfully paired your device.
