I just got my new Garmin 1390LMT, and when I went to update the North American map, the system halted when it attempted to write to the Garmin with the error message code 1117.
I looked in the log file and it stated that there is enough memory, that the maps downloaded correctly, but the problem occurred when the update program tried to write the maps to the GPS. I have researched what error code 1117 means, and it is explained as an IO device error.
I am running Windows XP home, service pack 3.
Does anyone have any suggestions?:confused:
