Garmin Course Creator

Has anyone noticed that when a course is created using the Course Creator in Garmin Connect, there seems to be no elevation data in the saved course.
Also the downloaded course elevation data is not displayed on the Edge 800 and the Edge 500 elevation preview graph is not displayed correctly.
I am using a iMac os x 10.6.7, it's a shame because the course creator seems really good, I enclose a screenshot and .Fit
  • Garmin Connect - Course Creation - Elevation graph disappears from the bottom pane

    Hi,

    I get the same issue.

If I use the Course Creator in Garmin Connect (IE8 or Google Chrome 21.0.x), while I am creating the course prior to saving it, I can see the elevation.
As soon as I save the course the elevation graph data disappears. Here is an image showing the course, mid-creation and then one image after saving a course (btw they are different courses).

I then accessed the course (making it public) from another browser IE7, without logging in and found the elevation was there.
Existing courses have the graph in elevation pane.

What I have found is that IE8 with compatibility mode turned on for garmin.com allows the elevation to be seen after the save of a course.

Note I have not had this problem up until recently. It had always worked up till now so I am not sure what has changed be it an IE & Chrome update or how the page has been coded to render the elevation pane...

    Cheers,
    Patrick

Any news regarding this issue, as I need to see the elevation in order to select my training routes.

I noticed that the elevation screen is showing when logged off and NOT using Metric. When switching to Metric, the elevation screen is not showing and disapears...

Me too: Elevation data not sent to Edge 500

Me too. I can see the elevation data in the course creator. It just doesn't make it to my Edge 500.
Would love to see this fixed!
