Activities stored, but not accessible via Connect

Using my 310XT I am able to upload and store my workouts. However, they are not viewable on Garmin Connect. The last activity stored and made accessible took place on December 1. There have been four activities since then.

I have been able to connect on my Mac and upload. The only way I know they're uploaded is that dailymile.com is able to access them through their Garmin importation using my Garmin Connect account data. There is no record of the activities on the dashboard or the individual activity pages.

I scrolled through the rest of the forum posts and could not find anyone with a similar problem. Though it seems like it must be a Garmin Connect issue, I'm using OS 10.6.7 and ANT Agent 2.2.0. I also tried using a Windows machine at the office to see them without any luck.

Please advise. Thank you.

    :)

Yes sir. Signed in, signed out, a couple of times. I went in to old activities and changed a setting or two, in case there was some flag or variable that needed to be set as dirty.

No luck. Tried again before I typed this reply.

Thank you though. I remain interested in any input from anyone regarding this issue. FWIW, I'm running version 3.20 on the FR. ANT Agent is the current version.
  • So they are being taken off your device.

Do you know if they are being transferred to Garmin Connect? Does ANT Agent tell you there has been an upload to GC? Have you tried a manual upload from within GarminConnect?

    Having the same issue

I'm having the same issue. None of my new activities are making their way into Garmin Connect. The ant+ says that that activities are being uploaded, but they don't appear anywhere.

I updated the firmware, added many new "fake activities, manually pushed the activities and every other piece of advice I could find online, but still nothing is showing in garmin connect.

Okay, Philip Shambrook figured it out.

I have to start Safari and go to Garmin Connect to upload the data. I hit the upload the button, select the option I want and it uploads the correct data.

My old process was to plug the stick in, turn the watch on, and the data would transfer automatically. I'd click the underlined text which would open up Chrome and take me to the respective Garmin Connect page.

Now, when I follow my former technique, ANT Agent in a popup window gives me the following text:

Last transfer with device Forerunner 310XT on Dec 13, 2011 10:45 PM was successful. Activities were transferred to Garmin Connect, but download of Goals failed.

I was misreading the message above and thought it was indicating that the last transfer was successful. After Philip solved the problem I discovered the following page:

    http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator/test/

Perhaps something has changed in my setup or Garmin's but in my particular version of Chrome on Mac (16.0.912.63) Garmin Communicator is not supported.

    Thank you Philip.
  • Data from FR60 not getting uploaded onto GC

    Hi
I think I am having the same problem on my Mac. Data got uploaded to Training Center but not Connect. Also, my HR data did not get uploaded even onto TC for my last run even though the data is present on the FR60.
I updated the Communicator Plugin and retried and though I see the Ant Agent spinning, still data is not visible on Connect.
The Upload option mentioned below, is that the new way of doing it? I have not tried it yet, will do so, however, is this not something that requires a fix?
    Thanks

i have the same problem i can't find a solution
  • We have Macs here running 10.7.2, FF8.01, Garmin Connect 3.0.1.0, ANT Agent 2.2.0 and uploads work fine automatically.

Check you have the box ticked in ANT Agent preferences to send automatically to GC.

If you are using Chrome, try another browser as the work round to get Chrome working with GC might be affecting things.

Missing data on TC is a problem with the latest version (Mac) but appears to have been fixed with a beta version which may see release in the near future.

Having the same problem with 2.2 and a 410 on macOS 10.6.8

I posted on a thread in the Mac software sub forum. 2.2 is just not working, and saved a garbage password in keychain when I started it. Fixed that then, got the Goals download error. Did not know the 410 did that.

No new events in GC despite the message that Upload succeeded but Goals download failed. Apparently it is all or nothing. Downgraded to 2.1, rebooted, created a bogus little activity, plugged in the USB stick. Connect succeeded, upload succeeded immediately, no silly Goals error, event appeared IMMEDIATELY in Garmin Connect.

I was logged in to GC in all circumstances, don't think it was my use, but a buggy ANT Agent 2.2. I can turn on debug or logging if you want.

I'm suffering from the same problem as others in this thread. Ant Agent is reporting that everything has been uploaded but nothing has.

I'm using Chrome as my main browser, but swapping back to Safari doesn't help either.

Anyone else manage to resolve this?

    Thanks,

    Richard
