After sending my Garmin 500 for repair I am unable to show topographic information when off road. Is there something I need to turn on.
The 500 was bought for the off road maps.
My problem is similar, I just received the Nuvi 500 and upgraded the map as suggested when I registered the product. I don't know if the TOPOs were preinstalled as advertised, but they are not there now. The Map info only shows two selections:
1) CN Lower 49 States + PR Demo,and
2) CN North America NT 2012.30 [1] Lower 49 States
NO Topo choice. I sent an inquiry to Garmin and hope to hear back soon.
