Hi to Garmin Support, can you change my username as well?

I agree with others, the registration process is painfull. And inviting people to use their e-mail address as username is against world wide accepted privacy policies. I haven't seen this indeed at any other forum I've ever visited before. It may be smart to change the registration form. Small fix, can be done quickly.

Me too please - and I agree that when you register your Garmin, it encourages you to use the email address - and only some time later when you look at the forums do you realise the downside....

Yep, did the same thing several months ago when I signed up. I also would like to change my user name from my email address. You guys need to change how the sign-up process is done. :mad:

Thanks BBecker. While I never got the PM, I did get an email response from when I contacted Support via MyGarmin .com.

I concur with the others, I was encouraged to register with my email addy ("Email Address Recommended" I believe it said) when I first registered my brand new first-ever Garmin device. Changing that would save YOU a lot of headache causing PMs, forum posts, and emails :)
