My wife's FR 305 has a quick work out mode. It's great as you can set a distance, set a time goal, and then the watch will tell you what pace you need to maintain to reach that goal.

Imagine my surprise when I get the much more expensive FR 610 that I hope to use for my first half marathon and it doesn't have that feature. If I want to run 13.1 miles in 2 hours, I have to figure out the pace somewhere else, then put that pace into the Virtual Pacer function.

It would be nice to be able to pick any distance and any time goal and have the pace calculated for you like the 305.

Ditto...would be VERY nice feature to add...much more useful than the heartbeat recovery message that is meaningless:rolleyes:
