E705 Course data recording

"Do Course" is a navigation function.

In order to record your activity while you are following the course, use your Start/Stop button. Start/Stop controls the data recording side of things.

mmm, i cant remember if i stopped/started anything?? thought i had, and if i check the history on my Edge, i see my stats, but there is no sign of it when downloading... guess im testing the route home this afternoon.

Sounds like the data should be there but you're just not finding it for some reason. If the stats show up through the menu, you surely did start the timer.

Have you browsed the folders on your device to see if the file is in the history folder?

ya, its on my device, but i dont get anything on my Training Centre folders, my garmin connect or if i use Sport Tracks. There is just nothing for that day...

the only thing i can possibly think of wrt TC, is that the original course is not overwritten with my HR etc stats and retains the original fabricated stats. but that doesnt explain the Garmin Connect issue...

I'm going by memory as far as the 705, because I've moved on to an 800.

But I think that your results file would be in the folder GARMIN/History on your device.
The folder GARMIN/courses would only contain the navigation related info.


Likewise in training center, the Course tab is separate from the Activities tab.
