How to add an Airport to the GPSMAP 695

Hi,

Hope this is the right place...

I have a Garmin GPSMAP 695 (Atlantic Database) There are several airstrips in my country (Israel) that do not appear as airports in the database.

I want to manually add these. I have added them as waypoints, however I'd like them to show as Airports with all the information that goes with that, like strip length, type, frequencies used, etc.

How do I do that?

You can try at the Garmin site....

It says for errors but maybe you will get a reason why it has been left out.

Thanks, but I'm not sure this warrants an omission report. I mainly want to add little grass/dirt strips that are all over but not necessarily considered an airport. I haven't looked, but I even doubt they have designations. I'd just like to add them myself.

I need to do the same thing. I live in Argentina, I would love to be able to add a lot of airports or aerodromes that you missed and we use frequently over here. The thing is that I would like to use the same functionality (frequencies and runways information). I do have that info and I would be pleased to add that myself.
