Feature request: Rollerskiing as activity

Hi,

Rollerskiiing would be great to have as an option beside cross country skiing, it's nice to keep track of the relation between "real" snow training and metal rods on tarmac/gravel :-)

    Hi,

I just bought a Fenix 3HR watch, but I can't find out how to record Roller ski training sessions..? I thought it could be done and also include the cadence from the HR Bundle? As for now I record the training as XC-skiing, but in Connect I cant see the cadence at all.. But when i syncronize with Strava I can see the cadence..

How do you guys record your rollerski sessions?

    Hi,

This is a complaint given that Garmin still has not included rollerski as a standalone activity, it is making things complicated. Especially after the last update when old activities in cross country skiing is filed under "other" but from saturday under "wintersport".

Please make Rollerski an activity! Strava has rollerski!

    Best regards

Please add Rolleskiing as an activityoption in the Connect app. Been asked after quite some time!!! How hard can it be? Wink

  • Why is not Rollerskiing included as an activity? I see that it has been requested in this forum previously.

    Rollerski skate

    Rollerski classic

  • Most Garmin devices allow you to define any number of custom activities, and name them as you want, so you can add a Rollerski activity as well.

  • I understand how to add a custom activity, but I, and I imagine others, too, would like to be able to use the Outdoor Activity setting because of the data categories in the presets and then be able to modify it to specify the type of activity in Garmin Connect. It’s very surprising that it is not included. For now, I have been using Cross country skiing skating in place of roller ski skating.
