Garmin Fit iPhone app won't connect to GarminConnect

Just downloaded the Garmin Fit App on my iPhone. It won't let me log on to Garmin Connect, saying my username/email password is incorrect. Although it works fine to log onto the website!

Only reason for downloading was to be able to view Connect easily on the iPhone.

Anybody else had same issue or offer solution to login in correctly?

I've managed to login but all my activity's show a distance of 0.00KM!!

Me too. Surely that's easy to spot on some pre-release testing. Waiting for an update now it seems.

Logged on now. Had to change password - what worked for the website and these forums didn't work for the app.

I think it might not have like the special characters?

Not having any other problems now, just checked and am getting distance on my history

All of my previous activities show as 0.00km but have a total time and total calories, hard to believe this is an oversight.

Looking forward to a fix.

Another confusing thing is the iPhone uses google for maps while garmin connect uses bing for maps?

Forerunner 610 VS iPhone Garmin App

This Evenings Run. gave both devices ample time to lock onto satellite. Started and stopped at exactly the same time.

I've never had any problems with any other app I use on regular basis to record my runs (RunKeeper, Strava, MapMyride - All free mind you!)

The current plan is an update Thurs/Fri for this...fyi.

In the meantime, here's the workaround:

"If a Connect user has Settings on the website set to display distance as meters, then this will happen. So a temporary workaround for users until we can get a fix pushed out (which is looking like Thursday or Friday) is to change their Settings in Connect to display Statute. After that, it will take 10-15 minutes and a manual refresh of the history list (pull down the list in iPhone and menu option on Android) to fix the issues."
